The current report provides the opportunity to potential followers or supporters of similar actions to get acquainted with the RES Compass project, its original objectives and targets, the methodology followed, the products developed and the connections (communication strategy) built with the end users and the final beneficiaries of the project. All partners took part in this deliverable and contributed by writing RES related articles that are closer to their activities, competences and interest. Articles were developed and published both online at the RES Compass portal and in high circulation newspapers, educational institutes magazines, online blogs and related portals.

RES Compass partners aimed to and managed to and achieved wide dissemination of the project. Not only fullfilled successfully all the originally set targets for dissemination (participation in exhibitions, organisation of National Conference, Publication of Articles) but also took part in several dissemination activities and networking at regional and national level. Although the original target was lower, almost all partners finally took part in this deliverable and contributed by organising and launching National Seminars in their countries to promote the RES Compass project. The main target groups that took part in the conferences were councellors, advisors, employment professionals and career advisors, RES experts, policy makers in the fields of environment and education, RES related job providers, High school teachers and University professors, (...)
All partners actively participated in exhibitions and conferences in international and national level in order to promote and disseminate the RES Compass project. The subject areas of the conferences/ exhibitions were mainly renewable energy sources, education and employment, thus covering the 3 main thematic areas of the project. The table that we attach in the next page provides an overview of the exhibitions/ conferences per partner, along with the relevant supporting documents. (...)
The piloting of the RES Compass project target mainly to the following groups / beneficiaries:
Employment professionals and career advisors of the public and the private sector

The current report summarizes the work done for the development of the tool and more particularly the beta testing of it from the first days of its building till the end of the pilot sessions. Responsible for the reporting of all the activities done and the technical evaluation of the tool is IDEC. The rest of the partners reported any problems or improvements identified for the tool. One of the main parts of the RES COMPASS online tool is the orientation test. This is a self assessment test of interests and skills that allow the categorisation of the tool users in different groups of renewable energy occupations.
The test is based on the fact that all the Job profiles are divided into four different job sectors (groups):

This report includes a detailed explanation of the design and implementation of the online RES COMPASS tool.
It constitutes the basis for the development of the tool and it includes snippets of code, explanations of the tool functionalities and technologies used.
D3.1_Specifications of the tool
The ‘job profiles’ are one of the three key elements of the RES Compass Tool (the other two elements being the ‘test on interest, skills and competences’ and the ‘training database’). This report summarizes the progress of the development of these job profiles including their validation process.
D2.4_Job profiles
The database of training courses offered in the 27 EU members is of vital importance for the RES Compass project. Since one of the project’s targets is to improve careers information for young people on RES occupations and boost employment in the sector, the training database becomes one of the means to fulfill this target.
D2.3 Updated database of training opportunities
The present training opportunities report has been undertaken by the RES COMPASS partnership in order to define the existing training (and employment) opportunities in the RES sector and the needs as they are perceived by the projects target groups and key actors.

The report is divided into three sections: Users and scenarios, Requirements and Summary.
First section introduces the users and the use case scenarios for the tool. The second section is divided into five subsections namely General requirements, Self assessment test requirements, Job profiles requirements, Training database requirements and Interviews requirements.
At the end of the report we provide a summary list of the most important requirements that the tool will have to fulfil. (...)

To evaluate the website, the career decision tool and the training database, the RES Compass team aimed to promote a methodology with a mixture of in-depth constructive dialogue with key individuals and widespread engagement of a large number of individuals on a more general level.
